Who we are
This website is run by LOS Digital LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16212975), 11 Knightswick Road, Canvey Island, SS8 9PA. We are the controller of the personal data described here. For anything in this policy, email hello@los.digital.
What we collect
- Enquiry forms: your name, email address, agency name or website address and, if you give them, your phone number, any message you send us and any logo you upload. When you type a website address into our forms, we visit that website once to check it exists.
- Partly completed forms: if you type into one of our forms and leave without sending it, we may keep what you typed (such as your agency name or email) so we can follow up.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device details, and the page or advert that brought you here.
- Usage data: how you use our pages, collected by the analytics and advertising tools listed below.
How we use it, and why
- To reply to your enquiry and send you anything you've asked for, such as a free website design — to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To follow up about our services as a business contact — on the basis of our legitimate interests. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.
- To understand how our website and adverts perform and improve them — on the basis of our legitimate interests, and your consent where the law requires it.
- To provide and bill our services if you become a client — to perform our contract with you.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share it only with providers who help us run our business, under their own data protection terms:
- Our website hosting and email providers, to store your details and send our emails.
- Telegram, which we use for internal notifications of new enquiries.
- Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics, which tell us how visitors use our pages.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, whose advertising tools let us measure and target our adverts.
- Google reCAPTCHA, which protects some of our forms from spam.
- Stripe, if you pay us online. We never see or store your card details.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and similar technology
Our pages use cookies and similar technology from Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure visits and adverts. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage how Meta uses your activity for adverts in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up, normally no more than two years from our last contact unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email hello@los.digital and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
